How I Met Neil Patrick Harris
Aspiring entertainer Charlotte Lee dreams of the lights, stage and camera. But the design graduate could not get into the media school of her choice and found herself struggling to pursue her goal. So when the 20-year-old was presented with a chance to speak with Hollywood superstar Neil Patrick Harris during the program, she asked for his advice.
Inspiration from the streets
Denise Teo is a passionate street dancer who hopes to make meaningful contributions to the dance community in Singapore. During the program, the New Revolving Age alumna immersed herself in the birthplace of Hip-Hop and met up with dance legends such as Buddha Stretch and Chrybaby Cozie.
Tam Chin Wang is a talented director who is known for his skill in cinematography. The 21-year-old created a short film entitled "Fleeting". While planning his shoot, he met US-based Singaporean actress Jody Doo, who eventually became the subject of his film. She encouraged him to follow a method known as improvizational filmmaking - a free-flowing form of filmmaking in which most of the production is unplanned and unscripted.
Taking over times square
The first-ever group of participants showed their creativity, confidence and camaraderie in this lip-dub video that was planned, filmed and edited in just a few hours. They stepped out of their comfort zone, worked well together and made themselves feel right at home in the world's most popular tourist spot - Times Square!
